First there was no spin. I found a relay that was locked (like when you open the door at end of spin cycle) so I pulled it back with a plastic tie and it spun like normal. Figured I needed another relay but had to do some wash so I loaded it up and with the relay pulled back, it didn't wash properly so I took the tie off and it washed like normal. I manually put it into the spin cycle so I could monitor what was going on and then nothing but a hum. If I pull the relay back, nothing...if I let the relay go, nothing AND now, it won't wash either. All it does is hum like it does between cycles and if I let go on an hum, after about a minute, I suppose a breaker trips in the motor or something and the hum goes away. I let it sit a hour and then tried again...the hum is back but there is no agitation or spin attempted. Any ideas?? Thanks.

Sounds like the motor gone bad.

The model number you posted is incorrect or just too old - it does not come up.

Verify and repost it, please.

yep, the model is correct and is probably over 15 years old...don't really know, it came with the house I bought over 12 years ago.
The hum is not in the motor but in the selector nob that I suppose sends power to the motor. could the relay that I tied up have crashed the controler knob assembly??
