Here are your parts
Replacement parts for General Electric JB960BY2 Electric range | AppliancePartsPros.com

Usually when both the stove top and oven elements do not work it is a power problem as they are wired separately.

Note: I cannot confirm this 100% as it is a GE and they like to keep all tech data a secret.

I am not sure why unplugging it got it running for a week but would suspect a bad connection at the wall receptacle or the plug on the line cord.

Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times, sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
If this does nothing, check the voltage at the plug
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts.
If OK
Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out
If OK
Check the power at the terminal strip.

Looks like the wall plug has gone bad I checked the breaker when I plug the unit back I hear a cracking sound from the wall plug and plug unplugged the unit and found black soot on one of the prongs.
