i replaced the ERC and now an error code of F0 is being displayed after

using the BAKE options. What's confusing is the error code doesn't always

display, but when it does have to press oven/cancel to get any type of

response from the display panel. There's not set pattern on what may

be triggering this error code?? What's your recommendations??

Thanks

According to the Service manual, an "F0" error code means: "Loss of safety signal".

Verify the glass ribbon cable connection to the adapter board. Check the tracks in the ribbon cable for hairline cracks. A magnifying glass might help here.

If there is nothing wrong then the adapter board might be a problem.

- The adapter board Part number: AP4282057

If it turns out to be one of the following parts as you stated below can there
be any potential damage to the new ERC that was just installed???

Thanks

No, I do not think so. The worst thing (which I forgot to post) is that in case if there is something wrong with the ribbon cable - the new glass is no longer available.

Gene.
