I ordered a seal for the freezer door using p/n 2159327 , I recieved the new part looks ok.

The original one is not fastened with screws but looks like it is built into the door. The new one has a tab built into the upper inside rear . I can not figure out how to replace this.

please help

Hi.

Looks like the gasket is a "push in" type.Is the original one black or white?
The instructions sheet should be in the package.

Simon.

thanks for the reply

the original seal is white or beige. I did not get any instructions with it. If there are any I would appreciate a copy. Do I just pull the old one out of the door??

thanks again

Hi.

Carefully pull out small portion of the old gasket and see if there is the groove. If it's there just push the new one in.

Simon.
