Unit stopped during cycle. Child safety light on. Tried to turn off child safety, will not turn off. Pressed cancel and now cancel and child safety blinks. Turned power off and back on, same lights blinking. Checked ribbon cable and it looks fine.
Is it the control panel? All buttons look/feel fine, but?

Most likely the problem is a bad control panel.
