Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/23/2012(UTC) Posts: 3		AMANA FRIDGE ARS2464BW I replaced the icemaker assembly with your part # AP4135008 (D7824706Q) as it was leaking from the bottom. That went well and the unit functioned for about a week or so. Now it won't make ice at all, or very little. Can you point me in the direction as to what to test next, perhaps a fill-valve is on the blink? Note that the water dispenser on the door works fine - just no ice. And the auger turns OK etc. Thank you!

Then switch around the electrical plugs at the water inlet valves (one valve at the time). Push the water dispenser lever. If the icemaker fills up - it's bad. A combination of buying/using a freezer thermometer and cleaning the coils in the bottom of the unit brought the icemaker back to life - thanks again! :)
