I'm wondering if there is some internal fuse that could need changed?? We just bought it two months ago, and of course "acts of God" aren't covered under warranty. Any advice or links that can instruct me on how to find this fuse? Thanks!

Check the connections inside. Next open the control panel and check the door switches and control board itself. The most delicate to the spikes will be the control board. The control board Part number: W10473195 Thank you. Post the results. Simon.

You can verify the power supply for the dishwasher and the control board. You will need a simple multimeter to perform a few tests and a basic knowledge on how to use it. The other solution is to call Whirlpool warranty service and don't tell them that it happened due to a lighting strike. Gene.
