Dishwasher runs fine and cleans properly. However, at times it will not turn off and never gets past the rinse stage. If I set it for "Air Dry" it will operate normally but the dishes, etc. are not very dry. This is an intermittent problem.

The dishwasher cycle will often be delayed well it's waiting for the water to heat up. Once the correct water temperature is reached then the cycle will advance and finish.

Sounds like you may have a problem with part of the circuit that has to do with the heating element.

Could be the heating element, a thermostat or the control board.

I would try running it through the diagnostic cycle as shown in the tech sheet.
This will let you test the different parts of the cycle along with the different parts of the dishwasher.
