Dryer won't turn on, also, replace burned bulb, and it stays on with door closed, could this be a bad door switch, or is it mare likely a bad timer?

Yes it does sound like the door switch (Item 10 in Section 2)is toast.

Before replacing try to actuate it manually.
If does work then maybe only the actuator arm needs reforming.
Sometimes they can get bent.
