Well the new guy gets to post a familiar topic again. Sorry. We bought a house about a month ago and the dishwasher came came with it so we are not exactly sure of the age. It is a Maytag Quiet Series 300 - Legacy Series. It seemed to work fine for about a week, now it does not run. There is power.

What it will do & will not do. The cycle lights light up and can be selected. the option lights come on with the cycle selections, but can not be changed. I can not lock the panel (pressing for 3 seconds). Pressing Start/Cancel does nothing. Pressing delay start does nothing.

What I checked - I checked the 2 switches on the latch and both appear to be operable (ohms resistance on a meter). I checked the ribbon lead to ensure that it was seated properly. I check all electical connections. I even read in another forum to press the High Temp button and Heated Dry button in sequence 5X - nothing. I guess from what I read I need a new control panel not a control board, correct?

Most likely the problem is a bad control panel but there is a small chance for the control board to be bad as well. I would replace the control panel first. If you need the correct part number, post the color of the control panel.
