My waher comes to the end of the cycle and the clothes are still dripping wet. I ran it back through the spin cycle and found that the tub wasn't spinning. I took out all of the clothes and tried it again and sometimes it spun, other times it didn't. When I added clothes back into it while it was spinning, it slowed down as the weight got heavier. I was able to start the tub turning with my hand and it would engage and start to spin on it's own, although not very fast. I originally thought a slipping belt, until I looked and found that it didn't use a belt. From videos that I have watched, it seems to be acting like a slipping clutch, but I'm not sure. Can you help me?

Well I replaced the clutch assembly and everything worked great for the first few loads. Unfortunately the problem came back. I think it may be related to weight, as the first few loads were smaller and used less water. Again though, the bin just needed some help to get started. I pushed it into motion and it continued to spin on it's own and soon it got up to speed. Any suggestions on what this could be?

Hi.

Make sure there is no oil or grease in the clutch and spin tube area.Use the breaks cleaner spray if you have one.
