The icemaker in this unit has stopped making ice. The water dispenser works okay, so I know water is getting to the unit. If we put ice into the cavity, we can easily dispense the ice through the cubed or crushed ice switches. What can I troubleshoot?

Make sure the water tube which comes into the ice maker is clean.
Swap the wires between the water valve solenoids. Push the water dispenser release for a few seconds and check if there is water inside the ice maker.
If there is water, replace the ice maker.
If there is no water, replace the water valve.
The model number you posted is incomplete. If you need the correct part numbers, verify the model number and repost it.

Thanks Gene, where are these wires to the solenoids located? Any diagrams available?
The model number was taken directly off of the label inside the refrigerator side - this is what it says exactly:
HotPoint No-Frost CSX24D 23.6 cuft Refrigerator - Freezer
There are no other labels anywhere.

Hi Gene, I haven't worried about this because we have been just purchasing ice and loading the dispenser, but my wife reminded me that we should fix it, so I located this model number at the bottom - CSX24DMA. Hopefully that will allow you to provide the diagram. Thanks, Brian
