Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/8/2010(UTC) Posts: 46		I was able to pop off the top fabric softener piece. I was then expecting to see a nut to loosen, but all I see down there is the top-side of what appears to be a threaded rod or something. How do I proceed?

Looks like, from a video I just watched, that I need to use a 1/2" socket driver as the tool to remove this.

In addition, that video does not apply to my model of machine. As I previously mentioned, it turns out I need to use a 1/2" socket extension to remove the agitator, not a 7/16 inch socket as shown in this video.

My agitator removes differently than what's in the video.
