Gary,
No water can be expected from the water dispenser after you swapped the wires.

Help! I took the advice of Gene. I replaced the dual water input valve. I still have the same problem. Ice maker is not making ice. Water dispenser works fine when filter is not in place and using the bypass cap instead. Once I attach the filter, the water stops coming out of the dispenser and a loud clicking sound comes from the refrigerator. (Seems to be coming from the back wall of the refrigerator near the filter input) This is the second filter I have had on in less than a year and this happens. All of this was happening the same way before I replaced the dual input valve.

You may want to replace the water filter housing. It has a check valve inside which can cause such problem. - The water filter housing Part number: 67006524
