I am replacing a light switch part # AP2832875 on a THERMADOR CT227N. I want to know if after removing the control mounting plate, I will have access to it?

I'm about to order part no: ap2832875, light switch. I have the knob, seems the light switch "barrel" broke, nothing to put know on:confused:. Bullet points are find. MUCH THANKS :)
