Dyer cycle thru and buzzer sounds but dryer will not shut off till door is opened

Hi.

Open the control panel, locate the resistor attached to the timer.
Check the resistance. Set you meter to the at least 10kOhms.
You should read about 3.77 KOhm.
If it's different - replace the resistor Part number: 31001484
Part number: 31001484


If the resistor checks OK - then it's bad timer.

If the old one looks like this Part number: 53-1758
Part number: 53-1758


then it's still available, if it's bigger - no longer available.
