I have a 2 1/2 half year old Spacesaver Microwave which has "locked up" The display does not say locked up but that is the case. I have removed power and then restored with the plug many times with no improvement. The display shows I should set the clock which is the first thing that shows on the display after power is restored. However, no touch pad buttons do anything. The display just shows I need to enter the time but the microwave does not take commands from the LCD keypad buttons.

Any suggestions?

...and also unplugged the micro. When the time rest came up it too would not respond to any keypad function. I removed the keypad from the unit (very easy) and warmed it with a hair drier on medium setting for about 5 minutes. I then reinstalled the keypad, and VOILA, it works! Sure saves having to spend about $450 for a new keypad assembly.
