Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/29/2012(UTC) Posts: 1		I turn on my dishwasher and all it does is hum. I cleaned everything out of the strainer. It seems like the motor is not rotating. This is a great dishwasher and I know it's older but I want to save it. Help.

Replacement parts for General Electric GSC720Y01WH Dishwasher \| AppliancePartsPros.com Remove power from the unit. Remove the sump cover from inside the tub, Check inn the sump for debris that may be jamming the chopper/impeller. Be careful as there is often broken glass in the sump. Unless you find something preventing the motor from rotating it probably needs a new motor/pump.
