My washer stopped after filling. On agitate cycle, I here and feel buzzing from around the timer switch. I have moved the switch to different positions, washer will fill but not advance. Just a buzzing from the timer. I have read many posts and it seems that the timer is the last thing to go. I do not want to waste my time and money for the wrong part. What do you think?
Thanks,

Did it drain and/or spin?

Did the motor make any noise at any timer position?

The motor didn't make any sounds. Would not drain or spin. Just fill.

Most likely the problem is a bad lid switch.

- The part number for the lid switch is AP3180933
