have water to water valve,but does not fill ice tray.can pour water in tray manually and it will make ice and dump. is the water valve bad and how can i test to be sure. Thanks David

You can check the water valve coil for continuity or apply 120 VAC direct to the coil. Whichever is more comfortable for you. - The water inlet valve Part number: AP4298760
