The washer won't spin the tub during the rinse cycle. Everything else seems to be working normally. I've already changed the coupler. It didn't help. Now there is a burning rubber smell but I cant see anything wrong.

Remove the motor and check how the transmission shaft is moving in both directions. Make sure the both parts of the coupling are aligned properly.
