Hello, My dishwasher will not drain. I checked the air gap, the drain hose, (which goes directly into the disposal), and the basket grate (which is clear of debris). The dial cycles around okay like its running. Any money saving do-it-yourself repair suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Remove the toe panel and check the drain solenoid (on the left side of the motor).

I checked the solenoid and it read 40 on the multimeter.
I can actually watch it go up and down when I turn the dial.
Thanks for your suggestion. Do you have any others??

If the pump runs and the solenoid moves then there is a clog somewhere in the drain line.
