OK originally you said the everything was freezing in the fresh food section and the refrigerator guy said it was the thermostat I was assuming he meant the cold control (the part that you took pictures of at first) but the last picture you took was of the defrost thermostat which is a totally different thing. This is the thermostat you need Part Details - GE Temperature, part number: AP3156222[FONT='Times New Roman'] If your refrigerator is freezing things in the fresh food section this thermostat is the part you need to replace. Thanks so much. Obviously I have no clue! Thanks for your patience. I will order the correct part right now.
Another annoying question. Does this new correct part come with installation instructions?
Thanks.
