I accidently heated up a a bag of chicken wings and it had a small wire on top of the bag. I am assuming arcing occured, cause the bag caught on fire.. doesn't look like any damage was done except that the microwave doesn't turn on. Do i need to replace the microwave or do i ned to replace the fuse?

Most likely the cavity thermal fuse is open. For more accurate advice we need the complete model number of the microwave.

The thermal fuse is shown as #27 on the diagram. Looks like you have to remove the microwave from the cabinet and remove the outer case and some ducts to gain access to the part. - The duct thermostat Part number: AP3202548
