Using the diagrams, I'm not locating the defrost timer for my model. Maytag MBF2256HEW. Please help.

i replaced both of these. the bottom element glows bright orange when on. the top element seems to only have half of the intensity of the bottom.

the fan seems to work fine. could it be low freon?

maybe it is not the defrost at all. ice freezes in the freezer. but ice cream does not freeze hard like it does in my big freezer. almost everything is cleaned out but the freezer doesn't seem to get below 20 degrees.
