I understand that. It burns initially then stops and does not reignite leaving the clothes damp at the end of a cycle.

Hello. Let's fix your dryer. I'd like you to check three things one by one. Take the back off and locate the operating thermostat next to the fuse. When the dryer start acting up install the jumper across two large contacts. If that works - replace the thermostat. If not - on the right locate the hi limit thermostat. Same procedure. If that doesn't work - replace the flame sensor. The hi-limit thermostat Part number: AP3084674
