No water flowing to ice tray. The ice maker works when I put water in the tray. Water dispenser in door works. Where do I begin to check for freezing in the line? Most of the tubing is covered. Do I have to pull the refridgerator away from the wall? Is the water valve for the ice maker in the back? I would love to have a diagram of the parts and their loactions.

Open the freezer door and view the "status" LED on the right side.
Press in the emitter flapper door on the left side to unblock the optics beam and view the "status" LED.
Post you findings.

Next step: Remove the ice maker and check the water feeding tube for freezing. If it's frozen, defrost it using a hair dryer. If it's frozen, then the water inlet valve has to be replaced. - The part number for the water inlet valve is AP3160649 Gene.

The water inlet valve is located on the back of the refrigerator. You should see the water line connected to this valve. - The water inlet valve Part number: AP5263471

Hi Gene, Water supply line is not frozen, I changed the water inlet valve and no difference. I read somewhere that the ice lifing teeth on the ice tray shold be in the up posision, if not I may need to replace the ice maker unit, dose this sound write to you?

You did not mention it before. Yes, it is possible that the ice maker itself is the culprit. In what position are the teeth?

The teeth are pushed back into the ice machine. (looks like it's ready to make ice and pop the into the bucket, but no water.
