Heard loose coins in dryer went to get the out. not there now you can hear coins under the drum but the drum won't turn the dryer hums when you turn it on:confused:

Hi Robin
You should be able to access the dryer by releasing clips that hold the top to the front. Place a thin putty knife or screw drive in the gap between the top and the front at the edges. Flip the top back, take off the front, release the belt (from a panel at the back) and you can take off the drum.
This should allow you to trouble shoot it.

A few months ago I was given a dryer that was barely working. I took the dryer apart and found over $9 in loose change in the bottom . Some of the coins were wedged in places that made the drum difficult to turn. I almost always find some coins in dryers I work on but this is about the most found to date. Has anyone else found more money than this in a dryer ?
