Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/5/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		When the main drain pump in my GE dishwasher turns on, it sounds fine for roughly 5 seconds. It subsequently develops a low rumbling-grinding noise as if there is debris impeding the pump impeller. Is it possible to detach the motor from the pump in order to allow it to be cleaned or must the entire motor-pump assembly be replaced?
