1) i have checked the electric socket/connection; the door latch; i have also changed all settings, rotated every knob, and it still wont even make a sound. i understand that it is either the thermal fuse, or the starter box. the starter thing is easy to get to, but the thermal fuse is supposedly in the bulk head. how the hell do i get to the bulkhead?????? which one of these two possibilities do you think is more likely, the starter or the thermal fuse?

Hi Nikita
You can access the thermal fuse/thermostats by taking off the back panel.
You should test all of them with a meter for continuity, if they are not your problem then your issue is likely in the gas system. In that case review the posts on this forum involving gas dryer (I do not work on the gas section of dryers) and that should solve it for you.
