My dryer sqeaks when I first start it, then it quits. Is it the belt, idler pulley, etc? it's ten years old. Other than this problem it works just fine. I would like to order the right part/s the first time.

Hi Vern

I would replace the belt, idler assembly and support rollers. These parts are not expensive and this should keep you going for a pretty long time. One of them will probably stop your noise, but you might as well do a complete job, and then be done with it.

Good luck
