I replaced the defrost timer and 3-4 days later the coils were iced up. The fridge part was warm. I manually turned the defrost timer to defrost; 25 minutes later the refrigerator re-started. As I suspected, the timer motor was not running when the compressor was running, only when it is in the defrost mode.
Can you help?

Mark the timer knob and housing to verify timer not turning, you might have ordered the wrong timer.
