I have a maytag neptune front load washer. The clothes were still wet after spinning so I selected just the spin cycle. The minute timer hits the 7 minute mark when I am assuming the the spin cycle should start, then it jumps to 0 and stops.
There are no error codes that display and the door lock is engaged. I have looked at other forums an found someone made a suggestion that it is the balance load switch is corroded. I have yet to take the front of the machine apart to see, but does this sound like a plausible solution?

I don't think so, but use this service manual https://docs.google.com/viewer?a...jRkZTQ1OWNm&hl=en_USto take a look at it. I think it is likely the control board is having a problem, but first check out the drain pump and internal drain lines to make sure everything is ok there.

I have checked the internal drain lines they are clean, and have recently replaced the water pump, so those aren't it. I was thinking that it was the control board, but from reading a lot of posts from people they were having other issues that I am not experiencing.

Try to use the diagnostics in the manual. Your model is discussed in detail at the back, even though the manual does not say so.
