Help! I bought a new Range and I am trying to follow the instructions to convert from natural gas to propane. The oven came with burner orifices for the conversion and directions to turn the regulator plug around. Did that...The 3rd and 4th steps are changing the #53 orifice hood to an 090 on the broiler burner and the #49 "spud" to a 57 on the bake burner. These parts were not provided. Does anyone know where to find a 090 orifice hood and a 57 spud for this conversion. The MFG does not seem to show these two conversion parts on any parts schmatic I or anyone at the various parts places I've contacted can find.

Thanks,
Danny

I went to the Maytag site and downloaded the install instructions for this unit.
I could not find any mention of changing the spuds for a oven burners.

Probably best that you contact Maytag or the store you bought it from.

denman, thanks for the reply. Please see the attached .pdf of the same Installation Instructions I received with my range, page 15. I am looking for the "57 spud" and the "090 hood".

I have found a different set of Instructions for the same model number that shows adjustable broil and bake burner orifices...that you just twist 2 1/2 turns and a needle jet closes down the orifice...so I guess they changed up the configuration at some point without changing the model number of the range.

I suppose if I could find the adjustable versions of the orifices that would work too.

Thanks again,
Danny
