Approximately 8 year old washer developed vibration, rubbed against outer rear tub, broke it. Just replaced rear tub/bearing, works fine during wash cycle but starts shaking violently during spin cycle. Could this be anything other than broken spider arm requiring drum replacement? Machine is level.

If it is not the support struts then the broken spider is the likely problem. This happens frequently when the rear bearing goes out.
