Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/28/2009(UTC) Posts: 1		I have the washing machine apart, took the old clutch off and have the new replacement clutch on the shaft. For the life of me I can't get that miserable retainer ring back on. What is the trick?

Richappy - I posted a similar question today and just found this advice, however, I'm not sure what you mean. The retaining ring is spring wire-like and "C" shaped with a curly-q at the end which goes into a hole in the clutch assembly. I'm confused.:confused:
