Hi Todd,

It is possible that the problem is a bad evaporator (freezer) fan motor. If it's bad then it will damage the main control board. I really recommend to order the new fan motor and replace it together with the new main control board. Otherwise the third control board will get damaged again.

gene got the part and just tore down the freezer and sure enough mine is the one with the thermistor,it figures.guess i will order the thermistor style fan now.:mad:

You can splice in the new motor wires into the old harness.
