Hello,
My Whirlpool dishwasher model Quiet Partner III (model GUZ2500XTPB3) does not drain water in normal cycles, water stays inside the machine and goes away when forced by pressing DRAIN.
I checked the following:
1. Dismounted and checked PVC pipes under the sink for proper drainage - found no problem 2. Garbage disposer for proper drainage - all found working well 3. removed the drainage hose from the disposer and used a bucked - machine drained properly during regular cycles.
Perhaps it is important to mention that a month ago I replaced a chopper assembly, which had gotten damaged due to broken glass. A spring, a part of the original chopper got into the grinder and never was recovered. I am curious if that could have impacted, or even damaged the pump. After replacing the chopper water pressure inside the machine returned to normal and restored relatively good operation of the machine, although my wife keeps complaining about not fully cleaned dishes.
I will greatly appreciate an advice where the problem could be.
Thank you

You will need to remove dishwasher, pull the main pump, replace the pump impeller, clean out the motor screen, and also replace the check valve on the right side of the pump chopper. This check valve allows back flushing the screen when the drain pump runs.

Volant probably has two problems not related. Drain problem separate issue, might be control module.

Symptoms are control module not sequencing to drain mode.
