66516959000 I took the themostat off. I checked it with my multimeter. I get 0 ohms. Does that mean its opened or closed? And is that correct? Or is this the faulty part?

Heater thermostat is supposed to be closed at room temperature. Check your heater.

I got a reading of 0 ohms

I have the same problem with my clean light flashing 7 times. I have no tech sheets and no scrub or energy saver buttons to push. the model number is 66516032401. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi Neal
Did you remove at least one wire from the heater before testing the resistance?
If not - you got a wrong reading.
If yes, then the heater is bad and has to be replaced.
In order to find the right part number for the heater I need to know if the tub is made of plastic or stainless still.

12.8 ohms with both leads off of heater
