I have a 1 1/2 year old dishwasher and my glasses and dishes are becoming frosted, as though they are being sandblasted. What can I do?

You have to determine if they are being etched or coated.

Try soaking a frosted class in some vinegar over night.

If it removes the frosting then you have a coating (see below).
If you are not using rinse aid, I would start using it.

If it is still there they are probably etched. Use less detergent or try a different detergent.
