Try soaking a frosted class in some vinegar over night. If it removes the frosting then you have a coating (see below). If you are not using rinse aid, I would start using it. If it is still there they are probably etched. Use less detergent or try a different detergent. http://www.applianceaid.com/dish.html See 7 and 22
