My dryer stopped working. It won't turn on. I noticed the power cord looked a little burnt and thought it shorted out so I replaced it and still nothing. Then I thought the start button might be bad so I ran a jumper across it and nothing. I took a reading of the voltage comming to the dryer and got 112 v. Is this normal for a dryer or do you think the breraker might be bad. Thanks for your replys. Tom

Hi. First check you are getting power to your outlet.

then check the door switch and make sure is closing properly or that is not broken.

Hi Eddie, Thanks for the reply. The problem was the outlet itself. One of the terminals was burnt out. Working great now. Have a good day.
