I can get water from the frig door unit but can't get ice. Tried replacing soleoid and that did not fix the problem. Turned ice maker off and taped door switch closed to check if auger would work and it doesn't. Don't know what to do next to sole my problem. Can someone help me out please?

No - tried replacing solenoid in door and that wasn't the problem. My renters broker the auger. We replaced that and it moves freely. thinking might be the ice crusher motor in back part but not sure. Any ideas are welcome. Would like to get this working again.
