What temp is required on the freezer side for ice making efficiency?

5 to 10 degrees F is what I always say.

Thanks for the reply. Yesterday I posted this Ice maker will not fill. Have water at door dispenser. When I switch the connectors at the water valve, then I get water to the ice maker and no water at the door. The water valve has been replaced as well as a new ice maker in the last 6 weeks. Have not been able to get the ice maker working. What should I do now?
