The light works & I can hear the fan going, but it is not cooling? Is that for sure the thermostat?

Check to see if the condenser fan at the back underneath the fridge is running. Is the compressor motor near that fan running. Are the coils near the compressor warm.

The fan is running. The copper coils are not hot. I did unplug it overnight though. I plugged it in this morning.

Is the compressor running continuously. Is there any cooling at all in the freezer.
