Oven wont shut off without unplugging. Stovetop works fine any ideas?

when you plug the oven in does the oven go on by itself ?

yes it does turn on by itself

sounds like stuck relay... you up for some diagnosing ? have an volt ohm meter ?

for starters when you plug the oven in does either bake or broil or both elements get red ?

I have pulled the back off and there looks to be only one board with another behind it. looks like the relays are on the board

obviously with power off , check wires to bake element and follow them to where they terminate.. make sure nothing is crimped or pinched ( perhaps shorting to something...
