A foodbag with a metal strip flashed and caught fire in the microwave, was able to put it out fast. Microwave cleaned up accept a plastic disc top of the inside of microwave was discolored. Microwave works. Is the microwave safe to use ?

If there is no damage to the inner door panel and the cavity panels then it's probably safe to use.
