I had the same issue with mine. It was the motor coupler, seems to be a common failure. The replacement part is reenforced with a steel sleave to prevent it from happeing again. It is a lot of work to change but worth it as the part is less than 20 bucks. Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL LSR7233DQ0 | AppliancePartsPros.com AP3963893 I don't have the service manual, but it would be helpfull to show you how to remove the tub to get to the motor.
