As the washer is filling, some water leaks or drains back into the drain tube. How to fix?

How and where the drain hose is connected to?

The drain hose is the black sturdy ribbed plastic one that runs from the washer and empties into my drain line for the house. bae

Bekolt,
Sounds like your washer is "syphoning" when it is in the fill cycle.
Make sure the top of the drain pipe is 38 inches up from the floor, and that the drain hose end is not stuck or sealed to the standpipe.

Good Luck,
:) :) :)
