The spring loaded flapper door on the ice dispenser chute does not automatically close anymore and I think the spring that holds it closed needs to be replaced. But I cannot figure out how to get to the flapper door assembly. There are no visible screws on the outside (or inside) of the freezer door. Does the bezel around the ice/water dispenser in the door snap on/off? Or do I have to disassemble the whole door from the inside? The dispenser decorative bezel on the outside is plastic and I don't want to risk breaking it by trying to pry it off if there's some simple trick to getting it off. Thanks.

Remove the dispenser cover by gently prying going round and round a little at a time to prevent from breaking it. When it's off the screws will be exposed to access the other components

Is this the same for a Whirlpool? Using putty knife and can't seem to get it loose.
